OpenMedia are based in Auckland New Zealand, and formed in 2006 to focus on the growing convergence of Open Source and Media related technologies. From the large scale enterprise systems to digital TV set top boxes, your adsl model and mobile phone, Linux and Open Source have become a major part of the IT industry.
OpenMedia draws on the business experience of Cherie Carbines, and the technical background of Steven Ellis, as well as their shared passion for Linux and Open Source.
